Play Patterns Kit has been designed for students in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during an internship with ANET (The Andaman and Nicobar island’s Environmental Team ) and CERTAD (Centre for Education, Research, Training and Development). I worked on this kit with Param Jain.
Play Patterns aims to explore patterns artistically while having fun and interacting with one’s environment. This kit will provide users with a basic understanding, further delving into more complex understanding of patterns, analogy and scientific reasons involved.
The components of Play Patterns Kit are :
1. Let’s Start (fold-out)
2. Activity Cards (a set of 8 cards)
3. Pattern Cards (a set 16 photographs) – All the photographs were taken by Umeed Mistry.
